Founded on October 10th, 2010, Minecraft Middle Earth stands as one of the longest-running collaborative build projects in the Minecraft universe. This is not a typical survival server; it is a meticulous, organized effort to recreate the vast geography and iconic landmarks of J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-Earth. The community operates through a structured system of supervised jobs and massive projects, where participants contribute to everything from planting forests and laying roads to constructing entire regions like Rohan, Buckland, and Osgiliath.

The server utilizes a unique organizational method to manage its ambitious scope. Work is divided into two main categories:
