🧪 The Stratusine Research Institution

Something is wrong behind the sterile walls. The Stratusine Research Institution is a modded Minecraft project built around a chilling premise: you are either a Research Patient subjected to terrifying and unique experiments, or an agent of the Institution itself — climbing the ranks, joining one of its many Departments, and enforcing its inscrutable agenda. There is no neutral ground. Every player chooses a side in a world where the facility's corridors hold secrets that shift with each session.

🎭 Two Paths, One Facility

As a Research Patient, you are thrust into the Institution's testing program. Experiments are not scripted minigames — they are dynamic, player-driven scenarios where the environment itself becomes the threat. The modpack reshapes survival into something closer to psychological horror: lighting behaves unpredictably, sounds trigger events, and the tests evolve based on how players respond. Cooperation among patients is possible but never guaranteed, because the Institution rewards betrayal.

As Institutional Staff, you operate from the other side of the glass. Departments within the Institution each carry distinct responsibilities — security, research, containment, administration — and climbing the rank structure unlocks access to restricted wings, command authority over patients, and tools that bend the facility's systems to your will. Staff players shape the tests themselves, designing the challenges that patients must survive.

🔧 Modded Systems

The server runs a custom modpack that transforms the base game into a closed-environment horror-RPG. Standard survival mechanics are replaced or augmented: health systems are reworked, inventory management carries real tension, and the world boundary is the facility itself — there is no escaping to an open overworld. The modpack is required and distributed through the Discord, ensuring every player enters the Institution on equal footing.

📋 Access & Whitelisting

Entry to Stratusine is controlled. You must join the Discord server and complete the whitelist application before connecting. This gatekeeping exists to preserve the roleplay atmosphere — the Institution does not accept casual visitors. Once inside, your character's role is assigned and your journey through the facility begins.
