Straight Up [Anarchy] [SMP] has kept a single, unbroken overworld alive since April 1st, 2019 — a persistent, player-scarred landscape shaped entirely by more than 11,000 players over five-plus years of unrestricted survival.

🌍 A World That Never Resets

The overworld has never been wiped. Every base, ruin, trap, and monument you encounter is a real artifact of the server's history. There are no resets, no fresh starts, and no curated safe zones — just a continuously evolving world where the past is always present.

⚔️ True Anarchy, Minimal Rules

This is a server built around player freedom. Griefing, PvP, raiding, and killing are all permitted. There is no protected spawn area; you begin at a random position within 500 blocks of world center (x0, z0) and immediately face the consequences of that choice. The staff do not intervene in player conflicts.

🛡️ Anti-Cheat Without Bans

Straight Up uses an anti-cheat plugin (GrimAC) to limit the effectiveness of hacked clients, but enforcement stops at prevention and kicks — there are no bans for client use. The goal is to keep gameplay fair without removing the anarchy spirit.

🧩 Vanilla-Adjacent Survival

The experience is as close to vanilla as possible while running on Spigot. Plugins like FreedomChat, IllegalStack, GrimAC, ProtocolLib, and RayTraceAntiXray handle chat, exploit prevention, and performance without altering core survival mechanics. What you see is essentially vanilla Minecraft with just enough backend protection to keep the server stable.
