Minecraft 1.21 Servers — What's New & Where to Play

Minecraft 1.21 is a major update packed with new content and mechanics. If you want to play on a 1.21 server, here's what's new in the version and where to find communities running it.

What 1.21 added

  • Trial Chambers — a new underground structure with traps and the Breeze mob.
  • The Breeze & Bogged — two new mobs, plus the ranged Wind Charge attack.
  • Copper Golem & Crafter — automation helpers (Copper Golem is a 1.21 drop).
  • Wolf variants & armour trims — more customization.
  • Tuff & copper building blocks — fresh construction options.

Finding 1.21 servers

Servers declare their version on their detail page. Use the version filter on our server list to show only 1.21-compatible communities, then sort by live player count to find active ones.

Match your client

You must run 1.21 (or a compatible later release) to connect. Our version-changing guide shows how to switch profiles in the launcher. Note that many servers accept a range (e.g. 1.21+) so newer clients still work.
