Gratopia is a vanilla-ish survival Minecraft server built around a strict economic loop: you can only sell items to the server, while all purchasing must happen through player-run chest shops, direct trading, and the auction house. This mechanic forces a real, community-driven economy where prices are set by supply and demand rather than admin shops.
The server supports Java Edition 1.21 and includes quality-of-life features like player warps for sharing shops, farms, and bases, team support for cooperative play, and proximity voice chat via the SimpleVoiceChat mod. Progression is tracked through 20 vote tiers earned via voting and playtime, a skills system inspired by McMMO, and detailed leaderboards. A live 3D map and an extensive wiki with guides help players navigate the world and optimize their builds.
Gratopia is designed for players who prefer slow, satisfying long-term survival without world resets. The community is described as chill but active, with PG-13 chat moderation to keep the environment welcoming.
