TrappedMC is a Minecraft prison server that emerged from the nostalgia of OG prison servers from 2011, built by former players who wanted to recapture the essence of what made those servers great while modernizing the experience. The server positions itself as the antithesis of pay-to-win prison servers, focusing instead on balanced progression, community, and play-to-win mechanics.

At the core of TrappedMC is a carefully balanced grind system. Players mine to progress through ranks, but the server introduces several unique mechanics to keep the experience fresh:

• GPUs & Crypto: Find rare GPUs and GPU parts while mining, then equip them in your GPU rack to earn passive rank-up income as you continue mining.
• Secret Chambers: Discover hidden chambers while mining that provide rare loot to assist in your journey through the ranks.
• RNG Meter: A rare drop system designed around fairness and grind rather than pure luck — your chances of finding rare items increase over time.

⚔️ Custom Enchantments

TrappedMC features over 100 custom enchantments across ten different rarities. These enchantments, and how many you can use, unlock over time and feel very progressive and natural. This system was developed over years of testing and is unique to the server.
